Catherine Hyde, M.A., is Transgender Coordinator for her local PFLAG, and supports more than 200 families. She trains on trans* understanding and sensitivity in schools and local agencies. In 2013, she helped the Department of Justice create an historical first training for law enforcement. In 2014, she presented at the World Professional Association for Transgender Health in Bangkok. She also serves on PFLAG National’s Board, its Trans* and Gender Non-Conforming Advisory Panel and as Mid-Atlantic Regional Director.
